We all live busy lives, and it can be easy to forget how much life has given us. While we may not all be able to give back to our communities through financial means, we all have skills that allow us to give back with something often just as valuable: Our time.
One of my favorite parts of being behind a camera is how it allows me to connect with people from any background, age, or location so easily, and the moments we make together can impact us and the people who view the images for days and years to come.
Being a photographer makes me present in the moment. It makes me appreciate all I have, and I love engaging in my community in ways that allow me to say thank you to what my community and my camera have brought to my life.
As a photographer, I have partnered with the American Heart Association, Teaching Gardens, UCLA, theater communities, and many charity runs to document moments and craft engaging content that drives people to want to be involved.
